Star Srilankan players to play against Nepal
Nepal is all set to compete against Srilanka Combined XI as a part of their preparations for ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
The match between Nepal and Sri Lanka Combined XI will be played on March 11 (Friday). The 50 over match will start at 10:15 am Nepali time.
Sri Lanka's team will include national cricketers. Sri Lankan national cricketers including Upul Tharanga, Thisara Perera, Dhammika Prasad, Sekkuge Prasanna, Dilruwan Perera, Dilshan Munvira and Sandun Virakkodi will play against Nepal.
The Nepali cricket team has already played two practice matches against the Sri Lankan first class team Navy. Nepal had won both the games. The third practice match is being played between Nepal and Sri Lanka Police on Thursday.
After the tour of Sri Lanka, the Nepali team is scheduled to leave for UAE on March 14.
Under League-2, Nepal will play a triangular series with UAE and Papua New Guinea. In the series, Nepal will play 2/2 games against UAE and Papua New Guinea. Nepal is scheduled to play the first match against Papua New Guinea on March 16, the second match against UAE on March 18, the third match against UAE on March 21 and the fourth match against Papua New Guinea on March 22.
