Sandeep back to “First Grade” for Western Suburbs


Sandeep has returned to the A grade of Western Suburbs after picking 3 wickets for the team. Nepalese leggie who had reached Australia to play the New South Wales premier grade cricket was backed off to second grade team after his poor performance in his last two games. Sandeep perfomed very well picking 6 wickets at the B grade team which uplifted him to the first grade again.

With no maidens in the first innings, Sandeep gave away 103 runs picking 3 wickets in 18 overs. The team lost the match although skipper JD Cook and Nepalese leggie picked up 4 and 3 wickets each.
