Rashid and Williamson give Hyderabad first win of the season

Sunrisers Hyderabad clinched their first win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after a series of defeats in the first two games. Hyderabad beat Delhi Capitals by 15 runs on Tuesday after Afghanistan's Rashid Khan took 3 wickets.

This is Delhi's first loss in the tournament. Delhi had to concede defeat as they could not cross the medium score of 163 runs. Delhi lost 7 wickets and managed to score only 147 runs. Rashid was the man of the matchas he finished with the figures of 3-14 from his quota of 4 overs.

Prithvi Shaw was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar while Rashid took the wickets of Shreyas Iyer (17), Rishabh Pant (32) and Shikhar Dhawan (34). Kagiso Rabada, who hit a six off the last ball of the match, remained unbeaten on 15 off 7 balls. Opening bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar from Hyderabad took 2 wickets for 25 runs from 4 overs.

Earlier, South African fast bowler Rabada bowled brilliantly as DelhirestrictedHyderabad to 162-4. Rabada, whowas good in Delhi's victories in the first two matches against Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings, took two wickets for 21 runs in four overs against Hyderabad.

Rabada did a decent jobin his last two overs and took the wickets of JohnnyBairstow and Kane Williamson. He gave away 5 runs in the 18th over and 3 runs in the 20th over.Bairstow and Williamson played important innings from Hyderabad.Bairstowtop-scored with 53 off 48 balls with two fours and a six. Playing his first game of the tournament, Williamson faced 26 balls and scored 41 runs with 5 fours.

Captain and opener David Warner was out for 45 runs. Playing 33 balls, he hit 3 fours and 2 sixes and added 77 runs in 10 overs for the first wicket with Bairstow. Manish Pandey managed to score only 3 runs. Veteran spinner Amit Mishra took 2 wickets. Ishant Sharma, whomissed the previous two games due to injury,conceeded 26 runs in 3 overs.
