Pakistan beat Australia in 2nd ODI
Pakistan registered a 6 wickets victory over Australia to end their 12 year old search for a victory against Australia in Australia. Man of the match and the skipper of Pakistan Mohammad Hafeez guided his team and beat Australia in the 2nd ODI of the ongoing series.
Having won the toss, Australia choose to bat first and could manage 200 runs losing all their wickets in 48.2 overs. Skipper Steve Smith was the highest scorer with 60 runs off 101 balls. Most of the other guys got starts but could not play a long inning. Mohammad Amir picked up 3 wickets, Junaid Khan and Imad Wasim picked 2 wickets each.
Pakistan in the reply got a good start with Hafeez and Sharjeel Khan. Sharjeel got out to Faulkner for 29 whereas Hafeez scored 72 runs. Then it was Babar Azam 34(49) and Shoaib Malik's unbeaten 42(52) that guided Pakistan to victory. Two wickets each for Starc and Faulkner wasn't enough for Australia to defend a total of 220.
