Nepal U-19 Make Good Move In First Two Matches Of ICC World Cup Qualifier

Nepal U-19 Team.

Back to Back win for Nepal U-19 in ICC Asia Under-19s World Cup Qualifier. Nepal comfortably won both matches against Singapore and Malaysia to place themselves in second position, trailing against Afghanistan who have won same number of matches. In both the matches, leading from the front skipper Sandeep Lamichanne was star power pack performer for Nepal U-19 team taking his side to second spot. He (the captain) took 5 wicket haul in both the matches conceding 38 runs in his spell of 16.5 overs leaving a great sign for the national selectors for Nepal senior team. Batsmen were not able to hold their nerve and were departed very cheaply in both matches.

Nepal U-19s beat Singapore U-19s by 4 wickets chasing a target of 74 runs in their first match and thrashed Malaysia by 5 wickets chasing just 59 runs in second match. Nepal U-19s bowling performance has been really on top but there is some serious concern on the batting performance.

Nepal U-19s will play their third match against Afghanistan which will be a challange and a great competitive match. Each team will play 2 matches against every team.
