Nepal Storm wins Asian Premier League
Nepal Storm defeated Srilankan Lions by 27 runs in the finals to lift Asian Club Premier League title.
The rain affected final match was reduced to 10 overs per side. Having won the toss, Srilankan Lions invited Storm to bat first. Storm managed to put up 108/7 in the first innings. Pawan Chandel was the top scorer for Storm as he scored 42 while Jitender Sharma chipped in with 23 runs.
Srilankan Lions in reply were restricted to 87 runs.Malwinder,Gaurav Barabade andAshish Bisht picked up 2 wickets each for Nepal Storms.
Pawan Chandel was awarded Man of the Series while Ashish Bisht was named Best Bowler.
