Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has announced retirement from all forms of cricket after quitting his Big Bash League (BBL) team Perth Scorchers last month. Johnson had retired from international cricket in 2015 but was playing in Big Bash and IPL.

"It's over. I've bowled my final ball. Taken my final wicket. Today I announce my retirement from all forms of cricket", Johnson wrote for Perth Now news website on Sunday. Johnson revealed that he had been suffering from back problems during the IPL and his preformance in the tournament also wasn't upto the mark.
