Injured Rishabh Pant is out for at least one week : Shreyas Iyer
Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is set to miss the next one week of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Pant, who suffered a hamstring injury during the match against Rajasthan Royals on Friday, will be out for a week, said captain Shreyas Iyer.
Alex Carey is the only Australian wicketkeeper in Delhi. Delhi hadto leave out attacking West Indies batsman Shimron Hetmyer in Sunday night's match due to Carey's compulsion to play while Pant was out.
Having made a great start to the current season, Delhi has collected 10 points after winning 5 of 7 matches and losing 2. Second-ranked Delhi will play against Rajasthan Royals in Dubai on Wednesday. In the ninth match, Delhi will take on Chennai Super Kings in Sharjah on Saturday.
