Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated arch-rivals Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in a thrilling match on Monday.

Mumbai won the toss and elected to field. Bangalore lost 3 wickets and scored a huge score of 201 runs. In reply, Ishan Kishan scored 99 runs to tie the game and eventually Bangalore won the game in super over.

After losing Kieron Pollard, Mumbai managed to score only 7 runs in the super over. Bangalore hita four in the last ball of super over and added 11 runs. After winning for the secondmatchin three games, Bangalore is now at third position in the points table. This is Mumbai's second defeat in three games. The team is in the fifth position in the table.
