Whoever wins the title, winner will be Nepali Cricket

Finally, the long wait is over and we are going to witness a history as Panchakanya Tej and Colors X-Factors take on each other in the finals of Everest Premier League 2016. Panchakanya Tej are not only the defending champions but also a top favorite from the start of the tournament. Colors X-Factors on the other hand secured a place in the finals with one loss and point shared with Vishal Warriors in their last game.

Panchakanya Tej have played like a champions throughout the tournament winning all their matches. The skipper Sharad Veswakar is leading the team from the front contributing with both bat and ball. Young Aarif Sheikh, Aasif Sheikh and Prithu Baskota have been very impressive with the bat. No one can forget the explosive batting of Karan KC that blew away Sagarmatha Legends. The momentum Tej have got in the tournament clearly places them as top favorite to win the finals as well.

Colors X-Factors journey to finals wasn't as impressive as that of Tej. X-Factors registered wins over Sagarmatha Legends, Kantipur Gurkhas and Jagadamba Rhinos. They were defeated by Panchakanya Tej in their very first match as Aasif Sheikh shined bright with the bat. Gyanendra and his men wouldn't want to repeat the same show. Sanjam Regmi's 4 wickets against Jagadamba Rhinos has probably set up a belief in the bowling lineup for X-Factors. Gyanendra Malla is a big match player and he is tailor made for situation like this. With Rajesh Pulami's current form and Gyanendra's experience, Tej would never underestimate this team.

We can expect a competitive show when the mighty Panchakanya Tej battle against balanced Colors X-Factors. Looking at current form and recent performances, Panchakanya Tej are expected to dominate but who knows if Gyanendra blasts in the big finals or the helicopters from the bat of Siddhant blow away the dreams of Panchakanya.

Whatever will be the result, a better team would be crowned as the champions. Whoever shines in the day of finals, it would be the success of Nepali Cricket.
