Bangalore vs Rajasthan : Fantasy Tips, Probable XI, Match Prediction
The 15th match of the ongoing 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Saturday.
With 2 wins from 3 matches, RCB are coming back after a Super Over win against Mumbai while Rajasthan would be looking to bounce back after the loss against Kolkata on Wednesday. It should be an interesting battle when Rajasthan who are placed at 6th position in points table and 7th ranked Bangalore take the field against each other.
Head to Head Stats
Total Matches Played : 21
Won by Bangalore : 8
Won by Rajasthan : 10
No Result : 3
Despite Bangalore's win and Rajasthan's loss in their respective previous match, I am backing Rajasthan to win this one. Rajasthan were brilliant in their first 2 matches and it was the new venue and new playing conditions that outplayed them in their previous match against Kolkata.
Bangalore on the other hand hasn't looked consistent enough so far. RCB were bowled out for 109 by Punjab and nearly lost to Mumbai even after scoring 201. I am backing Rajasthan to come out victorious in this match.
Fantasy Tips :
Suggestions based on form :
Devdutt Padikkal, AB de Villiers, Sanju Samson, Steve Smith
Captain and Vice Captain Picks :
Virat Kohli, Jos Buttler, AB de Villiers
Differential Picks :
Royal Challengers Bangalore Probable Playing XI:
Player to Watch Out : Virat Kohli
Rajasthan Royals Probable Playing XI :
Jos Buttler (WK)
Steve Smith (C)
Player to Watch Out : Jos Buttler
Opener Devdutt Padikkal and AB de Villiers have been the heavy contributers as far as RCB's batting is concerned. Skipper Virat Kohli is desparate for runs and this might as well be his day. Aaron Finch played well for his 52 against Mumbai and needs to continue his good touch.
Yuzvendra Chahal has been the standout performer with the ball for Bangalore. Guys like Shivam Dube, Navdeep Saini have shown promise and needs to be amongst wickets for their team.
As far as Rajasthan batting is concerned, Sanju Samson and Steve Smith are the top contributers. Special mention to that brilliant innings by Rahul Tewatia against Punjab where he hit 5 sixes in an over off Sheldon Cottrell. I am expecting some runs from the bat of Jos Buttler at the top order. I am not sure if this has got to do with the batting order but Robin Uthappa has been the biggest disappiontment so far.
The pitch at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium hasn't been much friendly to batsmen so far this season. I guess the team which bats well has more chances to win the match.
