Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF), the umbrella organization of Nepali sports journalists, has submitted a letter to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) demanding action against the Acting Head Coach of the Nepali National Football Team, Pradip Humagain.

The secretary of the forum, Anjan Khadka, on Wednesday submitted a letter to the president of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Pankaj Bikram Nemwang, demanding action against coach Humagain.

After the international friendly match with Bangladesh on Tuesday, in the post-match conference, Humagain presented himself offensively to the sports journalists and acted against the official dignity and even offered financial support to the journalist.

The Nepal Sports Journalist Forum has drawn serious attention to the incident that took place in the 'Post Match Conference' held after the friendly international match between Nepal and Bangladesh on 11 October 2079 at Dashrath Stadium. The behaviour of Pradeep Humagain, the executive coach of the Nepali national team, was very unprofessional, irresponsible and totally low thinking.

But NSJF has made it clear that no such financial support has been received from Humagai. Humagain said that he would provide financial support of Rs 50,000 to NSJF. The forum has never accepted this kind of personal support before and will not do so in the future.

"Coach Humagai made baseless accusations against Nepali sports journalists and presented wrong ideas. We would like to draw the attention of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to his scandalous presentation and claim."

Anjan Bista completed his first hat-trick for the national team when Nepal won 3-1 in the match against Bangladesh.
