How Arsenal could make impact with new signing in PL 2022/2023

If Mikel Arteta is successful in signing every one of his rumored targets, ARSENAL may have a terrifying starting lineup the next season. Given the abundance of highly regarded stars who have been linked with a move to the Emirates, the Gunners' summer spending appears set to continue.

One of them is Raphinha, a Leeds player for whom the Gunners are reportedly considering a second offer after their initial approach was turned down. To recruit the 25-year-old right winger, a sizable offer in excess of £60 million would be required.

Additionally, Arteta might be forced to move Bukayo Saka from the right to the left as a result of his arrival. If Arsenal is successful in acquiring Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans, a change in formation might also be in order.

After signing for Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus is more likely to lead in the starting 11. With lots of goal and chances created Jesus would provide a much-needed  boost for champions league qualification next season.

It's understandable to see why Arteta has indicated his wish to deploy William Saliba beginning with the 2019–2020 season after a standout campaign on loan at Marseille during which he was named the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year. Arsenal’s defence looked strong throughout 2021/22, but the Frenchman will provide excellent competition and could very easily force his way into the starting XI given how talented he is.

Arsenal have completed the signing of United States men's national team goalkeeper Matt Turner. Turner will compete with Aaron Ramsdale for the starting position under the terms of his long-term deal with the Gunners.

With the American national team, he has earned 18 caps, including participating in all six of the team's games when they won the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
